Windows Server 2008 Application Infrastructure (70-643) Training Kit: I recently finished work on co-authoring the Microsoft Press Training Kit for Exam 70-643, "Configuring a Windows Server 2008 Application Infrastructure." The book is now available for purchase. You can find more information about the book on the Microsoft Press Web Site.
Windows Vista Training Kit: My Microsoft Press Training Kit for Exam 70-623, "Microsoft Desktop Support - Consumer" is now avaialble for purchase. The Training Kit and exam are targeted towards Consumer Support Technicians (CSTs). In case you're wondering, CSTs are people that support home and small business users.
Microsoft MVP Award 2008: I've received the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award again for 2008! I have again been selected as part of the "Windows Server - Management Infrastructure" specialization. It's a great program, and I'd like to thank Microsoft for including me. Past Updates

SQL Reporting Services Training: The ReportingServicesGuru web site has been launched and is open for business! The site provides access to a free intro video, as well as the two complete courses (one for developers and one for administrators) that can be purchased and viewed online. Feel free to send feedback on the content via the web site.
Virtualization Articles: Numerous articles are now available in the Virtualization section. Most of this content is based on my writing for TechTarget's SearchServerVirtualization.com web site.
Virtual Server Books: My two books: The Rational Guide to Managing Microsoft Virtual Server and The Rational Guide to Scripting Microsoft Virtual Server have been released and are now available. Details including book descriptions, reviews, ordering information, and the Tables of Contents, are available now. Sample chapters are now available for free download. Just use the links on the left.
Keystone Learning SQL Server 2005 Training Course: SQL Server 2005 Implementation and Maintenance, a video training course I created for Keystone Learning Systems has been released and is ready for ordering. The course provides detailed walkthroughs of features and components of SQL Server 2005 and covers all of the topics in Microsoft Exam 70-431.
Data Center Managment eBook: I recently completed writing Opsware's Reference Guide to Data Center Automation are now available on the Opsware web site and from RealTimePublishers.com. The content is available for free when you register on the site. All eight volumes have been written and should be available for download within the next few weeks.
Virtualization Article: My article, Do More With Less: Exploring Virtual Server 2005 has been published in Microsoft TechNet Magazine. The article covers the architecture of Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 is now available online.
Presentations: Slides and sample code from my Virtual Server presentations to the Austin .NET User's Group are available for download. See Technical Resources for details.
Virtualization Management eBook: I have finished writing The Definitive Guide to Virtual Platform Management for Computer Associates/Real-Time Publishers. All chapters are available for free download (registration is required). There will be a total of 10 chapters (one per month), so be sure to check back often!
